Get a Good Look: Spartanburg’s Art Galleries

Spartanburg is full of art.

There’s public art nearly everywhere downtown, with popular murals, the eye-catching Creative Crosswalks, sculptures and much more. There’s also a great selection of art galleries, proudly showing off historical pieces and the work of local artists, working to fuel Spartanburg’s status as an arts hub.

Local artists’ work on display at The Art Lounge

Opened in 2011, The Art Lounge specializes in custom framing and features the work of 20 local artists at its gallery. Named the 2019 Independent Small Business of the Year by Independent We Stand; The Art Lounge works with artists to sell their work while creating a thriving arts community in Spartanburg.

The Art Lounge prides itself on providing a relaxed space for both artists and guests. During Spartanburg’s monthly ArtWalk events, The Art Lounge embraces the motto that it’s not only a good place to hang, but you’ll find yourself shopping for art to hang back at home.
